When you become a member of the DJDC, you'll join a group of residents, business owners and community leaders who have made the commitment to making downtown Jamestown a safe place to work, play, and live.  You will be taking an active role in the success of our mission and become a participant in the renaissance of downtown Jamestown.

By offering numerous levels of commitment, becoming a DJDC member can be feasible for just about anyone who wishes to support the growth and success of downtown. Each level has different membership benefits associated with it ranging from a window decal, cooperative advertising, and event sponsorship . Membership levels range from $25 for an individual or $100 through $5,000 for businesses and organizations.

“We try to provide our members with appropriate recognition and valuable benefits for being a part of our organization,” said Lee Harkness, DJDC Executive Director. “Our membership is so important to the operation of DJDC. We truly appreciate our members and their contribution, as it allows us to keep working on the revitalization of downtown Jamestown.”

Each year your membership dollars help DJDC sponsor special events like the Holiday Parade, St. Patrick's Day Celebration, Cruisin’, and Hands On Jamestown.  We are happy to report these events have brought well over 100,000 people to the downtown this year, with an organizational goal to increase attendance to downtown events by 10% each year.
